You can enrich your modern wardrobe with this funny to knit hat with classical cables. Knitting cables is a challenge for the mind and hands yet this pattern is easy to remember and knit. Carol Hat can be your very warm and attractive winter accessory.

You can knit this cabled hat in a jaunty bright hue or in a pale neutral to show off the cables to maximum advantage. The Carol Hat is a perfect gift for those you love!

Depending on your preference and style, you can also add a fun pompom as shown in the pictures.

The hat is worked in the round from the bottom up. It starts with a tubular cast-on that gives a beautiful edge look and continues smoothly with 1x1 ribbing. The elastic tubular cast-on makes the ribbing stretchy enough to fit most adult heads. A body with classic cables follows.

The pattern is written and with chart so you can follow the directions according to your preference.
