This is an easy sweater pattern and a great one for learning to knit lace with beads. You will begin at the bottom edge with the lace. It’s got an easy to read chart with directions on where to begin and how to proceed. The rest of the pattern is written. There is no shaping, so it proceeds quickly! This is really a poncho with sleeves. Very oversized, very loose-fitting, just pull it on over your head and go!

I chose Auracania’s “Huasco DK” in a lavender blend, color 19. This is a springy Merino, a comfy yarn that’s great to work with.

I’ve had a great response to this pattern at my shop. It’s named after my friend, Carol, and it looks great on her! You can add or subtract length easily on the body and sleeves, by adding or subtracting rows. This is really a seamed poncho with sleeves. Easy to wear, comfortable, and attractive!
