What am I missing?
carré cardigan
Carré is a cardigan with an unusual construction, in one piece and nearly seamless (only a little sewing at the wrong side for the pockets).
It is worked top down, starting with a provisional cast-on at the top of the center section. All waist shaping is done in this center stockinette section.
The large broken rib bands are worked all around in one piece - hence the name carré (square) - and they hide 2 pockets. You will need 3 or more circular needles to work them.
The sleeve inset is inspired by the contiguous sleeve method developed by Susie Myers, SusieM on Ravelry
