This pattern will help de-mistify Entrelac and help you produce a fabulous shawlette that your friends will never find on a store shelf.

It is so rewarding to work on an Entrelac piece with a slowly variegated yarn and watch the colors changing as your fabric grows.

Carrie is the second triangle Entrelac shawl released by Yellow Ribbon Knits but it is by far the most dramatic. With two sharp ends, this long shawlette is light enough to be worn year round.

Carrie is worked from one point up and you can adjust her length based on the amount of yarn you use. 100g/400m is recommended depending on the desired size.

You can change the size of the individual squares by increasing or decreasing the number of stitches in each square/triangle. It is recommended that you knit the pattern as written the first time. After you are familiar with the technique you can then adjust the square size.

NOTE: Last picture shows shawlette BEFORE blocking.
