Cashmere should always be worn very close to the skin! This is a scarf that is wrapped twice around the neck, with both extremities attached at the front with i-cords. This scarf has an i-cord edging and a lace motif at its extremities.

This pattern contains written explanations, a chart and the definition of all abbreviations.

Yarn
Approximately 245 yards of sport weight yarn (Just make sure it has some scrumptious cashmere in it!)
Gauge
20 stitches and 32 rows = 4 inches of stockinette stitch (after blocking)
Materials
Tapestry needle, a few yards of scrap yarn.
Needles
One set of US 4 straight or circular needles, two US 4 double-pointed needles (or size required to obtain gauge, although gauge is not all that important in this project).
Dimensions
This scarf measures 86 inches long (Each i-cord measures 16 inches, and the scarf itself measures 54 inches.) and 5 inches wide.
