Reversible Cardigan with a deep V neck in sizes XS | S | M (L | XL | 2XL) 3XL | 4XL. The pattenr provides instructions for working both cardigan versions: the striped cardigan as well as the mohair cardigan with the peplum.

Structure:
The cardigan is worked in stockinette stitch top down with raglan increases. To shape the round neck, the left and the right shoulder sections are worked separately and then joined at the round neck. The cardigan is then worked in one piece back and forth in rows. Every 6 rows there are additional increases to shape the deep V neck. As soon as the sleeves are separated from the body, the increase frequency for the deep v neck becomes higher, before the body of the cardigan is finished straight and without any increases anymore. Before casting off, the body is finished with a hem in 2x2 ribbed pattern. Now the sleeves are worked in stockinette stitch in rounds and finished with a cuff in 2x2 ribbing too. Afterwards, stitches around the neckline and the front parts are picked up to work the button band in 2x2 ribbing.
Hem, cuffs and button band are worked in the contrast colour, body and sleeves are worked in a striped pattern with smaller stripes in the contrast colour.
The fit of the cardigan is minimal oversized for the most comfortable feeling and has a positive ease of around 5 cm. The striped pattern and the ribbed details in the contrast colour create an interesting look for the romantic style of the reversible cardigan.

When working the mohair version, stitch counting and instructions remain the same. Instead of working the 2x2 ribbed hem, a little peplum is added to the body. The button band is worked in stockinette stitch and smaller buttons are added to the button band. The sleeves are worked in rounds and finished with an i-cord-edging instead of the cuffs in 2x2 ribbed pattern.
