Cassandra is my daughter. Her favorite color
combination is Pink and Brown. A couple of
years ago I commissioned Black Trillium Fibre
Studio to custom dye some sock yarn for me
so that I could knit her a pair of socks in her favorite
colors. This crocheted version is what
she likes, a simple sock that is decorative, but
not fussy.

The pink and brown colors are also the colors
for KRW Knitwear Studio. The pink is for my
Nonna who taught me to crochet. Other than
black and grey, pink was the only other color I
ever knew her to wear. She wore it for my wedding
and for my mother’s wedding.
