The hook I used was a G/6 4.25MM

This is a simple, but elegant, pair of fingerless mitts. It uses a combination of three stitches; half double crochets, double crochets and triple crochets to create a light, lacy pair of mitts. They are perfect for a spring afternoon or a summer evening. Worked flat & seamed this is a wonderful pattern for beginners.

This pattern was inspired by one of my favorite all time short stories, “The Thing About Cassandra” written by one of my favorite all time writers, Neil Gaiman.
