These socks are worked in the round from the top down. The cable design grows from the ribbing and continues down onto the front part of the leg before merging onto the top of the foot. The sock starts with a double rib that flows into the cable neatly, while the ribbing continues along the back of the leg into a slip stitch heel. The heel is turned and the gusset is shaped before the foot is completed in stocking stitch and the toe is grated together.
