Yarn Requirements

  • Castle--2 50g balls of Rowan Handknit Cotton in main color (pink), and one ball in 2nd color (brown)
  • Turret roofs--1 50g ball of Jaeger Baby Merino 4-Ply in mauve (used double)
  • Battlement--1 50 g ball of Rowan Handknit Cotton in light grey
  • Picot edging and turret trim-small amount of Rowan Handknit Cotton in off-white/ecru
  • Door, window, and drawbridge--small amount of Rowan 4-Ply soft in dark brown (used double)

Additional Materials

  • Scraps of wool fingering weight yarn or stranded cotton or pearl embroidery thread in turquoise, light mauve, mid rose pink, sage green, red, pale rose pink, white and yellow
  • Scrap of wool tapestry yarn in light apple green
  • Scrap of lightweight gold metallic yarn
  • 8in x 10in piece of light brown or light grey felt
  • Polyester toy stuffing
