I was inspired by yarns with a great halo for this design; Kid Mohair and Silk fits the design and paired with a single ply of wool it is perfect. Knit in the round from the bottom up, this hat is not a dull knit. The lace is simple to remember and great for a beginner who doesn’t want to tackle a larger lace project, yet it’s still a great choice for the advanced lace knitter who wants a quick, satisfying knit. I used the Kitchener stitch to seam the top. A lace chart and written instructions are included.

Instructions are given to achieve both styles, a more fitted look (white hat) or a relaxed look (magenta hat).

SIZING (circumference):
Small: 19-20in (48–51cm)

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS (Unstretched circumference) and (Length):
Small: 18in (46cm) 7.75in (19.5cm)
Medium: 20in (51cm) 8.5in (21.5cm)
Large: 22in (56cm) 9.5in (24cm)

WORSTED: 1 strand of worsted held throughout.
