A stunning wide scarf in a pretty Estonian lace stitch pattern with a gorgeous edging, blocked into delicate points. This shawl is worked from the centre out so that both sides are perfectly symmetrical. The yarn is an unbelievably soft and buttery heavy lace weight yarn, almost a 4ply. Its luxurious softness and fabulous handdyed colourways work so well with delicate lace.

Yarn: Squoosh Fiberarts – Merino Cashmere Lace Colourway – Wisp (80% Merino, 10% Cashmere, 10% Nylon; 114g/4.02oz = 521m/570 yds) 1.5 skeins required = 782m/855yds

Dimensions: 16” / 40cm wide and 72” / 180cm long after blocking.

Needles: 4mm / US 6 25” / 60cm circular needle or straight needles for working flat.

Gauge: 17 sts x 25 rows = 4” in main lace pattern after blocking. Correct gauge is not critical but will alter finished dimensions.

Extras: Crochet hook and waste yarn (I recommend a 4mm/US 6 crochet hook and 4 ply yarn) in a contrasting colour for provisional cast on, clip on or removable stitch marker tapestry needle for weaving in loose ends, mat and t-pins for blocking.
