This pattern was designed for the Carolina Fiber Fest 2024 Craft-A-Long.

The cowl begins with a short provisional cast on, worked with double pointed needles. Once the center 2 garter ridges are worked flat, the double pointed needles are used to pick up around the ridges. After a few rounds, switch to a 16” (40.5 cm) circular needle. The pattern is a simple 5 round repeat. It is possible to work the pattern using magic loop, but the center is very fiddly, thus not recommended!

MC - 275 yards
CC - 200 yards

Pattern calls for fingering (sock) yarn, but can be worked in heavier yarns by adjusting the needle size and the initial cast on and working fewer repeats.
