Is this hat too pretty? If, so work the rib in a contrast colour to resemble a collar; flatten off the top of the nose; embroider some scars; sew some tucks not the ears – so it looks like a cat that comes in after a long night out on the town. You could even add a bell and a name barrel to the back.

The cheeks / upper lip can be tucked under the rib on days when you want to the see the world from behind your hat!

Yarn:
1 ball of white
1 ball of pink
1 ball of grey
Short lengths of tapestry wool or scraps of yarn: blue; dark blue.

A sample was worked in Cascade 220 and this yarn worked well.
