Twisted stitches add texture and character to the Catalina Shawl. The shawl begins with a twisted-rib pattern broken by garter ridges, then flows into a lace pattern interspersed with twisted stitches. The Catalina Shawl is perfect for the knitter looking for a simple lace project that’s just complicated enough to stay interesting to the last stitch.
