This angel top is part of a Christening set for a boy, but it an also be worn by girls. Without the collar it works well for everyday use.

The body is worked in one piece to the armholes. The lace edging for the sleeves is worked, stitches are picked up from the straight edge, then the sleeve is knitted up from the cuff. The neckband is then worked. Finally, if required, the collar is worked and sewn to the neckband.

As written, the buttons are at the back, but the top can also be worn with the buttons at the front.

The top is very stretchy and will fit a wide variety of sizes.
