It’s easy to catch a butterfly with this shawl!

This shawl starts as a rectangle worked sideways with little butterflies that seem to flutter over it. Then, tapered rectangles are added to the left and right side to turn it into a comfy, oversized shawl / wrap.

Stripes with a contrasting color, garter ridges and an I-Cord Edging that goes all the way around make this shawl an interesting knit. You’ll need appr. 800 yards of the main color and appr. 400 yards in a contrasting color (fingering weight)

Basic stitches/techniques required:
knit, purl
yarn over,
k2tog, ssk, k2tog tbl
