Catelyn is worked back and forth using circular needles from one point of the shawl, with increases on the left hand side of the shawl, worked on 3 out of every 4 rows. The initial section is in garter stitch, then the top half of the shawl is worked in a simple lace and wrap stitch pattern. The shawl is finished with an applied i-cord around the edges of the two short sides.

This pattern features in Issue 94 of Knit Now, which is on sale from 4th October in supermarkets, newsagents and craft stores across the UK. Find your nearest UK stockist here. Copies can also be ordered from MoreMags or if you prefer, digital editions are available via PocketMags.
