Catherine's Shawl
This shawl was designed for my friend’s wedding. She wanted a cosy shawl entwined with leaves and vines and this was the result. The pattern uses knits, purls, increases, decreases and cable stitches. The leaf border is knitted on.
The pattern uses 4x50g hanks of Kinross 4ply but uses about 160g in total. The knitted-on border can be done in a contrast colour, in which case you will need 20g for the border.
The pattern is fully written, with the motifs also charted out for those that prefer charts.
