The Catriona Cowl© is a wonderfully comfy knitted cowlstyle
scarf that incorporates simple
ribbing and a unique cable design on a background of basic stockinette stitch. The name
Catriona is Gaelic for Catherine , named for one of my favorite literary characters, Catherine
Earnshaw of Wuthering Heights . This cowl can be worn high up on the neck or pinned to the
side with a shawl pin & it knits up quickly using super bulky yarn. Wear this cowl from spingtime
all the way through the snowy cold of winter. Shown in LionBrand WoolEase
Thick & Quick
yarn.
