Celandines is a striking asymmetric shawl which contrasts a simple garter body and twisting cable vine with an elegant textured lace.

The expanding lace edge is bound off in small increments creating a dramatic sawtooth hem which can be adjusted to make the shawl deeper or longer as you prefer. The shawl can be extended to any size, making it a very easy to customise.

The adaptability of the pattern creates flexibility as to yardage, as the shawl can be worked in 400 - 1000m or more of heavy lace to sport weight yarn, or solid, semi-solid, gradient, low-contrast variegated, or perhaps a subtle speckled yarn.

The design can be worked entirely from the written pattern, or from charts with some notes.
