These socks are knit from the toe up, using a short-row garter stitch heel and toe construction. The subtle zigzag pattern on the top of the foot and leg is perfect for semi-solid sock yarns.

You’ll need a size B (2.25mm) crochet hook and a small amount of fingering weight cotton yarn for a provisional cast on (explained in detail in the pattern). You will also need a coilless safety pin or split ring marker.

You can knit a range of sizes using this pattern. By adjusting the stitch count and needle size, the pattern will fit a foot circumference of 7.5” to 10” (16.5 cm to 25.5 cm).
