INTRODUCTION: This shawl design is inspired by the sun and the moon! I used knit stitches and construction techniques to create the feel of the stars in space, the shape of the sun, the curve of a crescent moon. I love designing with symbolism and every stitch choice and color choice I made has a little bit of moon and sun reference to them. Can you spot what they are while you are knitting?

This shawl was originally designed as a mystery knit along with Spun, LYS in Ann Arbor. See #CelestialSunshineMKAL on Instagram @tina.say.knits to see more!
