Cell phones weren’t part of the ’60s scene, but these days, no one leaves home without one. To give yours a with-it look that fits today’s fashion scene, carry it in this cool holder. It’s crafted from plain Fisherman’s wool that’s hand-dyed with a solution of Kool-Aid and vinegar. Worked in single-and double-crochet stitches, the finished piece is felted in your washer.

Extras:

  • Sewing needle
  • Button to fit through button loop
  • Three packages of Kool Aid for each color: Orange (A), Grape (B), Cherry (C), and Lemon-Lime (D)
  • 1/4 cup vinegar for each dye batch
  • Large glass jar
