Skill level: Intermediate. Color work sweater is worked from the bottom up in a single piece with inset raglan sleeves. The entire sweater is knit in the round.

Size: To fit bust size: Small (38”), Medium (42”), Large (46”).
Sweater shown in photo is medium. Sweater has approx. 4-6” negative ease for a more flattering fit.

Materials: 14 colors (9 brown gradients, 5 green gradients) 100% pure Rohrspatz und Wollmeise birdies (fingering weight merino wool) yarn - pattern requires approximately 1585-1800 yards total.

Needles: US size 4 circular needle (or size needed to obtain gauge). One set of US 4 double pointed needles.
Other: Stitch markers, stitch holders (or scrap of yarn), yarn needle, and crochet hook for provisional cast on.

Gauge: 28 stitches and 32 rows worked in Stockinette = 4” x 4” square on size US 4 needles.

Notes on Colors:
The total number of colors used may be easily adjusted by changing the combinations used on any chart. You may use more or less color variations as desired. Have fun with the colors, don’t feel locked in to the colors and gradients I used.
