This knitted swaddling sack pattern was inspired by one of my friends who is due to have her baby very soon and wanted something to keep her little one warm and comfortable. We looked a variety of patterns but they weren’t quite right so I set out to make my own.

This pattern can be made up with approximatley 300, of acrylic yarn which will also have a nice stretch in the garment which will potentially last baby a little longer depending on their growth rate.

This pattern will work up to be about 17 - 19” in length and 11 - 13” in width which allows a little room for movement, extra blankets or cuddly toys.

The front of the pattern has a Celtic Cable for decoration and the back is smooth for better comfort for baby. You will need to be comfortable with cables for this pattern however I do give you special instructions to work up the cable if you are not 100% happy with cables yet.

As this is the pattern only for this piece if you are looking for a ready made item then please view my other baby listings where you can find it.
