These warm fingerless gloves are featuring a beautiful celtic cable on the top of the hand while the stockinette in the palm makes them comfortable to wear for daily use.

Instructions for cables are both charted and written.

Skill level: intermediate.

Techniques: knit/purl in the round and flat, increase/decrease, cables, picking up stitches.

Yarn: 150-200 yards of any worsted weight yarn. The sample was made in Cascade 220. A solid color is what shows off the cables best.

Gauge / size:
Size small / medium: 20 stitches and 26 rows = 4” (10cm) in stockinette (US 7/4.5 mm needles)
Size medium / large: 18 stitches x 24 rows = 4” (10 cm) in stockinette (US 8 / 5 mm needles).

Tools: Size US 7 / 4.5 mm (S/M) or US 8 / 5 mm (M/L) double pointed needles (or 1 long circular needle if you prefer magic loop) or size to get gauge; tapestry needle; scissors; cable needle.
