This can be worked with any type/weight of yarn. Made with Crochet thread #10 and a 1.5mm hook, the measurements came out to be 3 x 2.5 inches. Red Heart Super Saver and a G hook yielded a final measurement of 9 x 7 inches.

It can be used as an applique, or larger as a trivet.
The piece is worked as a long strip (written instructions only), and then woven into the knot (photos).
