This pattern was written for any big time hockey fan. They are good for sitting center ice watching your favorite NHL team. They also make great gifts for the hockey fan in your life.

The pattern includes jerseys, and a color code table, so all the non-fans who know nothing about hockey can knit the right colors for a friend’s team.

Because of the 2 x 1 ribbing they will fit a wide range of people.

Needles: 1 24”/60cm or longer US 5/3.75mm circular needle (for average women’s size)
1 24”/60cm or longer US 7/4.5mm circular needle (for average men’s size)

Gauge For Women’s Size:
34 stitches x 36 rows = 4”/10cm worked in 2x1 Rib unstretched on size US 5/3.75mm needles.
24 stitches x 36 rows = 4”/10cm worked in Stockinette Stitch on size US 5/3.75mm needles.

Gauge For Men’s Size:
28 stitches x 32 rows = 4”/10cm worked in 2x1 Rib unstretched on size US 7/4.5mm needles.
