The spiral design of this hat creates the illusion of centrifugal force pushing outward from the center down to the serrated lower edge. This is a simple pattern with a stunning payoff, and works wonderfully with subtly variegated yarns like the ones shown.

GAUGE
4” = 26 sts and 29 rounds in Single Crochet
First 10 rounds should measure 4.125” in diameter at widest point, after blocking
Note: yarn shown usually knits at 26-30 sts to 4” in Stocking Stitch
