Based on Cat Bordhi’s Moebius cast-on, this pattern is customizable to size, gauge, and yarn. Using 6 pennies, the number of knit and purl rounds are determined, in a textile version of the I Ching.

Yarn:
Reynolds Odyssey (100% Merino Wool),
Brown Mix Color 503
Six balls made both models.

Needles:
(you may require a different size to get a pleasing gauge)
Size 9 (6 mm), 47” – 60” length
(I used a US10 on the longer, thinner model, and the 9 on the shorter one)

Notions: A stitch marker and your preferred method for keeping track of numbers of rows
