Many adventures await you, young knight. There are always dragons to be slain, brigands to be fought, and damsels in distress waiting for you to rescue them around every corner. But in order to do so, you’ll need the proper gear, and it all starts with your armour. This chainmail hauberk is just the thing for you.

This hauberk is knit in DK yarn, it’s lightweight and lets you move around freely in battles and adventures to come.

The hauberk is knit in the round, top-down. The end result is seamless.

Size: 3T – 5 years (the bigger sizes just need more length)
Gauge: 20 st to 10 cm/4”
Yarn: DK, ~150 m/50g ball, in grey or black, 3-5 balls
Optional: some gold lurex yarn for the detail on the neck

You’ll need a circular needle to give you the right gauge (suggested size: 3.5 mm), and DPNs or a second circular needle (whichever you prefer) for the sleeves and coif. You’ll also need some stitch markers.
