The first in a series of 80s themed knits, this cowl was inspired by the Erasure song, “Chains of Love.” The cowl is knit in the round, garter stitch, with slipped stitches creating the mosaic chain pattern. Mosaic pattern was adapted from Band 24 in Barbara Walker’s book “Mosaic Knitting.”

The cowl pattern is written for 2 sizes, small and large. The small is made from Lamb’s Pride Worsted (one skein each of green and white) and the large is made from Noro Malvinas and Ito (one ball of each). Colors are suggestions, choose two contrasting colors that you find work well together.

Since this is not a fitted garment, gauge is important but not crucial.
There is ample yarn to complete the cowls as pattern is written.
