This pattern makes a chameleon that is 5 1/2 inches long from head to tail. 2 1/2 inches long when tail is curled.
It uses DMC floss and tiny hooks, and requires crocheting around wires in the toes, so it can be challenging. Not recommended for beginners.
Correction! Rows 7 and 8 in the “Head, body and tail” section should read as follows:
row 7. 1dec, 4sc, 1dec, 4sc, 1dec, 2sc (13) (see: invisible decrease at PlanetJune, http://bit.ly/1RwiGzo)
row 8. 4dec, 5sc (9) Stuff head with fiberfill.
If there are any other mistakes, just trust the number that tells you how many stitches each row should have, and fudge what you need to to make it match.
Sorry for the confusion!
