Stripes don’t need to be boring! And one of the fun parts about playing with the Mad Hatter Blossoms Botanical Spectrum color way is the extra super long color shift can be divided so that you can create ever changing stripes. Each pack comes with 5 cakes fading from one color to the next so that when you end one cake, the next picks up the color shift from there.
To maximize the chameleon-like color shifts, the front and back are worked separately, then seamed together. Where you leave off on the back is where you begin the front, then each sleeve.
For sizes XS to 2XL, you’ll need just one set of 5 cakes. For sizes 3XL and 4XL, you’ll need either a second set of 5 cakes or purchase one skein of a coordinating color of Mad Hatter Sport to minimize the amount of yarn left over.
