This cozy cowl features a stylish and modern art deco-nestled diamond pattern. Ideal for all knitting levels, this piece is a fun introduction to cables, but its engaging stitch pattern still offers enough interest for the experienced knitter in search of a quick project. The rhythm of the cable is addictive and intuitive, making this pattern an enjoyable knit!

The pattern is worked from the bottom up in the round.

The yarn fiber content will affect yardage and finished measurements of the cowl. I knit this using 2 different sport weight yarns containing differing amounts of silk. The yarn containing more silk created a cowl that was shorter and skinnier and also used less yarn. I’m equally happy with both cowls. The yarns knit up at very different gauges, despite using the exact same needles. Alternative information:
2 skeins of Nivana Sport by Apple Tree Knits (65% Cashmere 35% Mulberry Silk; 162 yards 148 m/50 g) in colorway: Granite
Gauge: 29 sts and 38 rows = 4” in Diamond Pattern on US 5 (3.75 mm) needles.
Finished Measurements: Approximately 22” (56 cm) circumference x 11.5” (29 cm) high
