A bottom-up cardigan featuring front and sleeve cables, waist shaping, and a minimum of finishing. The body is knit in one piece to the armholes, and then the sleeves are knit in the round and joined to the body for the yoke. The only sewing required is grafting (Kitchener stitching) a few underarm stitches!

Pattern also includes tips on how to modify the neckline to be higher or lower to suit your taste.

Madelinetosh Tosh Vintage (100% superwash merino wool; 200 yds/183 m per 110g skein); color Graphite; 5 (6, 6, 7 / 7, 8, 8) skeins

Recommended needles (check gauge and change size if needed):
-US #7 [4.5 mm] circular needle, 24”-40” long (depending on desired size)
-1 set US #7 [4.5 mm] double-pointed needles (or preferred type of needles for working sleeves in the round)
-1 spare set DPNs or spare circular needle, US #7 or smaller
