What am I missing?
Chandelle Cowl
Chandelle is a long, luxurious loop, with simple but highly textured lacework. The contrast between solid and porous areas reminds me of the texture of limestone. The cowl is worked from a provisional cast on and grafted; tips are included so you can easily modify the dimensions to suit your personal taste.
Chandelle, Provençal for candle, is sometimes used to describe the tall spear-like formations found atop the calanques in the south of France. The calanques are the looming limestone ridges clustered along the Mediterranean.
