Slipped and bamboo stitches combine to create an incredibly textured hat that works well with both solid an variegated yarns, in a structured, yet chaotic looking pattern.

Materials

  • Approx. 135 yards of worsted weight yarn - Sample shown in Lichen and Lace 4ply Superwash Merino Worsted colourway Sea Grass
  • 16” 3.75mm circular needle
  • 16” 5mm circular needle
  • 5mm DPNs (or 32” circular needle for magic loop)
  • Stitch markers
  • Tapestry needle
  • Cable needle

Measurements and Gauge

  • Approx. 18” (45.7 cm) around by 7.25” (19 cm) tall
  • Approx. 24 sts by 28 rnds = 4” (10 cm) in pattern
