Pattern Description from Faith, Hope, Love, Knitting: “To honor and celebrate the enthusiastic charitable missions of these two women and their knitting guild, I designed a feminine beanie that could be made for a local women’s shelter or a chemo center. The yarn is very soft and comforting, and just enough texture to hid a bare scalp through the eyelet lace pattern. For more information on how to connect with a knitting guild in your area, or for getting in touch with charities that supplies knitted items to those suffering from life-threatening illnesses or who need special help, or charities that help abused women and children, refer to the Resources section on page 140.”
