I love cloth diapers but sometimes it can be hard to find pants that fit over the big (cute) cloth diaper bum. A friend sewed me some baby pants and they inspired me to create a knit baby pant that allows for more room in the bum without being over-sized in the leg. These pants are versatile- they can be adjusted to fit babies from about 10 lbs to 20 lbs (and even beyond!) and they will fit babies who wear disposable diapers too. I promise you will more than a month of use out of these pants!

A sappy note about this design:

This pattern specifically was inspired by a friend, a mother of two who has helped me tremendously in this journey to motherhood. She coached me through the whole cloth diapering experience in the first place and sewed me a beautiful pair of pants that sparked my imagination. Even more than this, the love and dedication she has for her family and the positivity in which she approaches life is truly inspiring and something I aspire to every day. The ‘Charlie Bottom Pants’ are dedicated to you.*
