Knit in the round, the fun fish are knit separately and sewn on later. Another pair dangle from the top. Pattern includes adult size, so you can make one for the little guy AND his dad!

THE BASICS

• Pattern includes 6 sizes: Newborn / 3-6 months / 6-12 months / Toddler / Child / Adult

• Pattern is written in ENGLISH and uses standard U.S. knitting terms

• Instructions are for knitting in the round on circular and double pointed needles

• Knitting skill level - INTERMEDIATE

• Gauge: 20 stitches = 4 inches (10 cm)

• Basic increases and decreases

SUPPLIES YOU’LL NEED

• Approx. 90 to 180 yds (82 to 165 m) DK or light-worsted weight yarn for hat depending on size made

• Several yds (m) Sport or Fingering weight yarn for each fish

• U.S. size 6 (4 mm) 12” (for 3 smallest sizes) or 16” circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge

• U.S. size 6 (4 mm) double pointed needles or size needed to obtain gauge

• U.S. size 2 (2.75 mm) double pointed needles

• Stitch markers

• Yarn needle
