Sometimes all that is needed is a simple loop around the shoulders to keep the chill away. Charlotte is an enclosed body-hugging wrap with a 3 inch fold-over and an easy picot trim at the edges. The Night and Day 2 stranded color pattern – a 6 stitch by 6 row repeat – is worked on the outside surface, with background color continuing to the inside self-lining. This piece is worked in the round, vertically, from provisional cast on to Kitchener stitch join. The 2 layer knit fabric is rich and dense. Work is begun at the lower inside edge with its picot trim creating the turn from back to front and front to back again. You’ll find my Charlotte Wrap is fun to make, super stylish, and rather romantic to wear actually – enjoy!
