Charlotte is a long sleeved bolero with a delicate eyelet rib mock cable pattern worked over the back, fronts, and sleeve cuffs. It takes very little yarn (approx. 125 yards/115 m - great for using up odd ends), works up quickly, and requires virtually no finishing as it’s entirely seamless. The back is knit first, then the fronts and sleeves are both worked by picking up stitches and shaping with short rows. After binding off the ribbed edging of the body, the only thing left to do is weave in the yarn ends and block. Pattern includes schematic with detailed measurements.

Designed to fit 18” (46cm) dolls with a chest circumference of approx. 11” (28cm), such as American Girl, Australian Girl, Gotz, Maplelea Girl and similar dolls.

The difficulty level of this pattern is: Intermediate - requires a knowledge of (or willingness to learn) basic knitting skills, decreasing, knitting flat (in rows), working in the round on DPNs, picking up stitches, doing a 3-needle BO, and working short rows.
