Chasing Blizzard is a simple asymmetrical scarf for chilly winter days. Not too fancy; just stripes and simple mesh lace, so this goes nicely for all styles and genders.

Just pick two of your favorite contrasting skeins of next-to-skin soft yarn, cast on and follow the instructions. This is super easy!

Yarn: 2 skeins (1 MC, 1 CC) fingering weight (400m/100g)
(eg. KVGWoolworks 100% SW Merino or KVGWoolworks Sock 75/25 Merino/polyamide)

Needles: 2,75 – 3,5 circular
(eg. Chiaogoo Red Lace Interchangeables 2,75)

Gauge: In garter stitch: 26 sts x 32 rows per 10cm/4in

Techniques: cast on (CO), knit (k), yarn over (yo), purl (p), knit two stitches together (k2tog), knit in front
of the loop/back of the loop/front of the loop (k1fbf), slip stitch without knitting (s), bind off
(BO), picot bind off (optional)

Size: Depending on your gauge and final blocking the measurements of this scarf are 220cm x 48cm / 86in x 19in

A very special thank you for Hélène of Le Crochet d’Argent for French translation!
