I have a thing for subtle textures that keep the eye moving, and the Chasing Daylight Cowl offers just that. Basic stitch usage creates a wonderful texture, then, when paired with the mohair, it creates a luxe lofty feel. It’s cozy, and delicious - perfect for the time of year when the daylight starts to fade early.

This cowl is a one size fits most - not overbearing, but not too small either. The fold over cuff allows for styling variations, permitting it to be worn as a top cuff, or on the shoulder for a bit more coverage.

You’ll need 1 skein of light fingering weight yarn (though this could absolutely be done with a heavier weight yarn, with a larger needle size) and a skein of mohair.

Want a bit more of the pattern to stand out? Try using a less variegated yarn or semi-solid.

This pattern makes a quick knit and a great gift!
