This is a pattern for fingerless mitts. They measure approximately 4- 5 inches from your thumb up your arm. They feature cable stitch patterns on both sides of the mitts, with a ribbing center for shaping, and optional beading. The stitches are charted only. The mitts also have a thumb gusset to ensure the best fit, and allow you to type, text or knit and keep warm at the same time. One size fits most, as a result of the lateral give, but there are tips for changing the size within each pattern. There are also tips for knitting in the beads. These mitts are made using two circular needles, and a heavy weight sock yarn.

The featured cable comes to us from Canada and the creative mind of Annie Maloney.

They require under 1 skein of most heavy socks yarns. The one pictured here was made with under one skein of Handmaiden/Fleece Artists Casbah yarn, in colorway, Nova Scotia.

Skill Level: Intermediate, assuming good working knowledge of cabling and reading charts.

The Mitts were expertly tested by LSJ

The pattern is available both here on Ravelry and in my Etsy shop in the Mitts Section (https://www.etsy.com/shop/WearableArtEmporium?ref=shop-he…)
