These mitts are worked in the round from cuff to fingers, with a gusset for the thumb. Yardage is total yardage - you will need ~60 yards of red, ~40 yards of orange, and ~140 yards of gray. They may look complicated, but you only ever work with two colors at once! And you will have plenty of leftover yarn - perhaps for a matching hat?
