Checkered Square Cap
This cheerful, fun hat is worked in the round and then seamed at the top with a three needle BO to form a rectangular shape. Checkers are worked in a Fair Isle pattern using different colors and textures, and it is a great oddment or stash-buster pattern for those small amounts of Aran-weight yarn in your stash.
Note that the pattern is written-out, line by line, and not charted. Sizes available from infants through adults. Sizing implies stretching, size up if you prefer a looser fitting cap.
