Checks and Balances uses an easy-to-remember pattern to create alternating columns of knit and slipped stitches that pull purl ridges up and down. Make yours fraternal as shown or matching.

The pattern is written to be needle neutral. Whether you use DPNs, Magic Loop or 2 circulars, the important points - beginning of round, gusset decreases - can be marked with markers or new needles, depending on your preferred sock-knitting method.

These socks have not been test-knit so please pm me if you have any questions.
